Side Note: I’ve visited a lot of places in the world.

Stonehenge, Rome, Athens, Jerusalem, Barcelona, and Stockholm top my list. So it should come as no surprise that some of those places make their way into my stories. While I’ve tried to stay faithful to the history of those locations (as far back as they’re known), I have taken a bit of literary license with their pre-historical origins in some cases. The older and weirder the place is in real life, the wilder and weirder I felt free to make it in my book (especially megalithic sites with no recorded history to speak of!). Keep in mind, it’s all make believe, and I have no intention of painting a historical site in the blood of the innocent (I reserve the right to abuse guilty characters from time to time).
